How do I get to the Market?
Just minutes from downtown, the West Side Market is at the northeast corner of Lorain Avenue and West 25th Street in the Ohio City neighborhood. The Market is easily accessed by public transit — the West 25th Street/Ohio City stop on the red line is across the street, and a half-dozen bus lines stop by the Market. Where can I park at the Market?
The West Side Market parking lot can be accessed from Lorain Avenue just east of the Market and from W. 24th Street which is off Bridge Avenue.
During hours when the Market is open, parking is free for the first 60 minutes, with an hourly rate of $1.50 applied after the first hour. The Daily maximum is $12. For all hours outside of Market operations, the hourly rate of $1.50 with a $12 maximum applies to all-time parked in the lot.
Do vendors accept credit cards?
The majority of vendors accept credit, debit and the EBT (Ohio Direction Card) card. Some vendors do have a minimum fee requirement for credit cards. There is an ATM on site, located near the Campbell’s Popcorn Shop (stand C-13).
Are tours of the Market available?
We ask that all planned tours, charter buses and schools make arrangements with Market Office at WestSideMarket@city.cleveland.oh.us to book your tour. We limit the number of tours taking place in one day. Guided tours are not offered at this time. The best time to tour the Market is Wednesday morning. If students are touring, there must be adequate adult supervision. We ask all tour participants to respect that the Market is first and foremost a place of business.
Is photography permitted in the Market?
Yes, photos can be taken throughout the Market.

How can I become a West Side Market vendor?
Vendors are not city employees, but they do rent stands from the City. For information on becoming a vendor, please contact the Market Office at 216.293.9830 or download an application packet here. Stand vacancies vary and rates are calculated on the size of the stand, commodity offered, and the location.

All Market vendors are located on the ground level. The Market has one handicap accessible restroom, which is located in the Market Cafe. No purchase from the Market Cafe is necessary to use the restroom — though if you’re hungry, the Cafe has great breakfast and lunch options.
